so far its safe to say..

That the pain I was having at Easter that landed me in the ER is most likely Acid Reflux. I've been taking Prilosec for 4 days now and these last 2 the pain has practically subsided! THANK YOU JESUS!!! The doctor was leaning more towards my gallbladder malfunctioning and even did an ultrasound to see if I had any galstones, THANK YOU JESUS there were none. I've been talking to my aunt who is a dietician and I've come to learn that this very well could be linked with my obesity. So, I've sprung into action...I call this "dieting" not really a diet but more like good choices, and that I'm saving my life one good choice at a time. While I'm on this theres no caffeine and no alcohol while I take this medicine, so ok I'll take it one step further and say for the most part, no soda for me! I'm letting myself have thursday nights as my "not so great choice night" since that is family game night and we typically all eat some kind of a meal together. So that time together is my "freebie" time, in portion controlled doses of course! And I'm not calling it jogging but more, "Running for my life." lol I'm jogging again to get my weight under control and to save my life! Theres nothing like a medical condition to slap me in the rear and get me going toward a healthier me!

Oh, and for those that don't know, my boyfriend and I split up. Long story short between the distance and my unwillingness to move/compromise my morals, it killed the relationship. Its better this way I suppose. I miss him. alot.

Get out and enjoy this beautiful weather! I know I have been :-D

Jackson Fund

Hey guys!
For my consistent readers and friends, I'm calling on you to help pray for my family once again. The bills have piled up for my brother and sister-in-law due to all the lawyer fees that have accrued because of the trial we went through. Prayers are already being answered to help find a way to get these bills paid off but there is a HUGE bill that needs paying from their lawyer out in Arizona.

If you'd like to know more about my wonderful family members or even donate to the fund to help get these bills off their backs please visit their blog at:

Lets show the world just how awesome our God is and how much He moves when we all come to him on someone's behalf.

What are you waiting on?

Well, another relationship of mine came to a screeching hault today...I dont get it. I guess all my girls are right, the right one will come along and it'll all work out. What a blessing this song is to me...to keep "running the race, while I'm waiting." I quoted the song I'm letting go on my facebook today, I love the chorus:

"I'm letting go of the life I've planned for me, and my dreams. I'm loosing control of my destiny, feels like I'm falling and thats what its like to believe, so I'm letting go, and giving into your gravity knowing you are holding me, I'm not afraid."

My dreams as a kid was to be a teacher, but more than that I wanted to be a wife and a mom. I never dreamed that at 25, I'd still be single with no children. I fully realize that most of you right now are going, WHAT?!? You've still got plenty of time. But you also have to consider, that my plan was to be married by 21 and kids not long after. I know, not very realistic, but its what I wanted. I'm learning more and more that its time to let go of the life I've planned, my dreams. And allow God to take over and show me the dreams He has for me. I know in my heart it would far surpass any dream I could EVER even imagine...if I'd just be patient and wait on the Lord.

So as I wait for Prince Charming, Mr. Right (whatever you wanna call him) I'll continue to run the race, I'll worship, I'll Serve Him, and I will Praise Him for all the amazing things in this life that God has blessed me with when I let go of the life I'd planned and followed His lead. For me, I'll wait...

Where has my brain gone lately?

Yeah, so these last two days I have done things that just quite frankly baffle even me...for starters...

1. Wednesday~I gave a speech in class with a partner, it was on the book A Long Way Gone Memoirs of a Boy Soldier by Ishmael Beah, I highly HIGHLY recommend this book if you want a good, true read...wow what an inspiring man! And he's doing something about his misfortunes he went through to change the lives of children all around this world...AWESOME MAN! Keep up the awesome work Mr. Beah!! Anyway, I spoke non-stop for at least 15 mins...and I kinda forgot to breathe too...lol. Well, anyway once my partner and I were done I got back to my seat and grabbed my bottle of water and practically chugged the entire thing. I was REALLY thirsty. So I put it in my book bag and went on to listen to the other speeches. Well at one point I grabbedin my bag for my calendar and then checked it and put it back when, I spotted it, I had a 2nd bottle of water in my bag..."YES!" I thought, only to realize it wasn't a 2nd bottle, it was my empty bottle reflecting off of the shiny top of my laptop :-( lol what a goof I am!

2. Yesterday at work I noticed my uncles truck was there...which ok, Chuck is in alot these days but Russ is home (my cousin, whose a Marine) from Japan. So I quickly grabbed what I would need for work and scurried inside to see Russ. So I normally leave my keys in the ignition while I'm at work, yeah its a small town...and its relatively safe. And normally my doors won't lock when the key is still in the ignition...yeah do you see where this is going? At 745 last night I had to call the Genoa Police to come let me into my car...lmbo. (laughing my butt off, I'm trying to stop swearing, even in my acronyms.)

So yeah, not quite sure where my brain has gone but I hope it finds its way back to my head. I'm starting to really believe that I am a natural blonde at heart. lol Hope you got a couple of good laughs at my expense outta this! I love telling the waterbottle story cause thats what I get, everyone laughs (including me)

Have a blessed day!
Scripture for today: "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." John 8:36

What's up with that?

Why is it when I want to change my layout to a good Christian one celebrating the Resurrection of my Lord & Savior that I can't find any?! Well I found one, but its the one I used last year. :-( That makes me sad, I wish I knew how to create blog templates cause I totally would.
