Scripture of the day...

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Romans 8:37

this teased at me all day long to find out what the "No" was answering too..I'm so glad I did...

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

What, then shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died--more than that who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall seperate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to seperate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:28-39

Can I get an AMEN?!?! Seriously!!! Praise God for His unfailing love that even when I slip, or stumble, or there are people out to get me or people falsely accusing me or people looking down upon me...NOTHING CAN SEPERATE ME FROM THE LOVE OF GOD TAHT IS IN CHRIST JESUS MY LORD!

Never forget the God who pulls us out of the line and says....no this one, this one right here...this one is mine...

Friendship

I received this image in a forwarded email today, havent seen it before or heard the quote. But it is so true. Our friends that we love the most are usually the ones who loved us even when we were unlovable...or at least acting that way. I know my closest friends are the ones that stood by me through my time in Korea and through my time in the Army.

Just wanted to shout a thank-you out to all those who have stood by me through all these years...I love you dearly!!

Easter Countdown

It's almost Easter...time to celebrate the resurrection of my Lord & Savior. Great time of year! All the flowers are coming up out of the ground, the grass is greening as I like to say. And the trees are coming alive again. Times keep ticking on. There will be a new family member in my family within the next 2 months. I'll be an Auntie again and Jackson will be a big brother! Really exciting!! During this time as nature goes through a re-birthing, I continue to challenge myself to go through a re-birthing as well. For lent I gave up fighting and things seem to keep reminding me of my decision to do that.

As the world changes around us, and we approach this time of Jesus' resurection, whats going on in your world?

Trying again...

Ok guys, I know I've posted this months ago, but its time to start trying again. I am still unhappy with my weight and know I am at an unhealthy size, so...with that said, I am trying to lose the weight again. I'm not going to say I'm dieting, because well yeah that makes me sad and it makes me think that I'm not allowed to eat the things I love but more that I'm just going to make better decisions, ie portion sizes, and exercising! Ive logged back into my Spark People account this evening and have it set up to start logging in my food intake and exercise times, etc to track my weight loss progress! Wish me luck!! Here we go again...
